Death of Two Nation Theory!

By Tipu Salman Makhdoom

Pakistan is based on Two Nation Theory

Right and wrong. Right that Pakistan was created on the basis of two nation theory, but wrong that it still exists on it.

Pakistan was created on the theory that Muslims in India were a separate nation and thus required a separate homeland. However when a part of Pakistani Muslims got separated being a separate nation on the basis of language and culture, and made their province a new state called Bangladesh, Pakistan did not cease to exist.

Creation of Bangladesh did not prove two nation theory wrong, it only showed that we will not continue to live in 1947 AD. Pakistan came into existence on the basis of two nation theory, but it will not continue BECAUSE of it.

Think about this: If all Pakistanis will convert to Hinduism, will Pakistan merge back into India? I don't think so! Do you?

  1. Two nation theory still exists only that now its not about Hindus and Muslims.Muslims were suppressed and were not getting the opportunity to flourish only then they thought of getting their own country..in my view religion had never been too important for Muslims that they required a special country just to pray five timed and eat buffalos on eid..yes if we all convert to Hinduism we will merge into into India because we are all opportunists not religious
